• New DRUM SETS

New acoustic and electronic Drumsets, optimized in their sound and with a better balance. Improved response on the Midi Files and on the traditional styles using Midi Drum Sets.

• 47 new STYLES

A gorgeous library of 47 new Styles that further enhances the absolute quality level of the Audya Arranger. The new Audio Drum files include the most requested rhythms of international and evergreen music, from Ballad to Swing, from Party to Latin. A rich outfit of Styles is also foreseen for the typical Dance Floor and Ballroom repertoire, with the soft sounds of Fox, Slow, Beguine and the classic Italian dance Styles:

The new Styles are easy to be identified. They are listed in top of the first pages of the different Factory Styles sections and are marked with the new symbol, a blue point before the name.

 

• New USER LIVE GUITARS

These new USER LIVE GUITARS can be loaded by the user into the RAM and can be included in any styles. They are stored in the USER LIVE GUITARS folder and are:

How to install “STYLES & SOUND UPGRADE\”

 

IMPORTANT:

IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR OWNERS OF AUDYA KEYBOARDS WITH 76 KEYS This update can only be installed if the keyboard is equipped with the last generation instruments and if it is updated to version 4.1B or higher.

To make sure that Audya has the last generation instruments available, select the factory family “PIANO” by pressing the relevant key. If next to F1 the text “CONCERT_GRAND” is displayed, the last generation sounds are already installed in the keyboard. Otherwise, before installing this upgrade, you need to load the previous Sound Upgrade .

Switch your Audya off and on to check which version of the operating system is installed: the software version is shown in the right lower area of the display during the initialization phase.

IMPORTANT:
This upgrade automatically sets the loading of the INS and the USER LIVE GUITARS. Any auto-loads previously set by the user will be disabled.. The user can restore his own auto-loads following the indications shown at the end of this document, in section “Additional Information”.

IMPORTANT:
Complete installation of this update requires about 2 hours and 20 minutes. After having completed the previous up-dating and on all those keyboards, where no additional up-dating is required.

Installazione

To Install the new Update , proceed as follows:

 

Preliminary actions

1 – Remove any .PCM files from the (C:) root of the instrument as shown in the following:

a. Press the DISK button

b. Press the DISK MENU button (User 5/10)
c. Use the DATA/VALUE-wheel and the ENTER key to select any .PCM files.
d. Press DELETE (F2).
e. Confirm the operation by pressing the  EXECUTE button (User 5/10).

 

2 – For correct functioning of some of the styles, enable the USER LIVE GUITARS as shown in the following:

a.Press the DISK button (fig.1).
b.Go to the C:\\USER LIVE GUITARS directory and press the ENTER button.

c.Press F10 and enable the USER LIVE GUITARS (ENABLED).

4.Press the SAVE button and then button F6 (CUSTOM STARTUP).

 

For owners of Audya, Audya 4,  Audya 5 and Audya 8 with 4.1B  or 4.2A software

1 – Remove any .MEM files from the (C:) root of the instrument as shown in the following:

a.Press the DISK button.

b.Press the DISK MENU button (User 5/10).
c.Use the DATA/VALUE-wheel and the ENTER key to select any .MEM files.
d.Press DELETE (F2).
e.Confirm the operation by pressing the  EXECUTE button (User 5/10).

 

2 – Insert the pen drive into the most external USB socket on the left side

3 – On the pen drive you will find 4 directories with the names of different Audya models

In the inside of each directory you will find the Operating System ( .mem file) to be copied as follows into the (C:) root of the instrument’s hard disk:

a.Press the DISK button
b.Press the USER 2/7 (D:REMOV) button.
c.Select the folder with the name corresponding to your keyboard.
d.Press the ENTER button.
e.Press the DISK MENU button (User 5/10).
f.Use the DATA/VALUE-wheel and the ENTER key to select the .MEM file located in the directory.
g.Press the COPY (F1) button.
h.Select C: LOCAL DISK and press the ENTER button.
i.Start the copy by pressing the  EXECUTE button (User 5/10).

4 – Once the copy is completed, restart the keyboard keeping  the F10 + UNPLUGGED buttons pressed down for about two seconds. The operating system will be automatically installed within about 4 minutes.

5 – To proceed with the installation of the upgrade follow all the instructions contained in the next section.

 

For owners of Audya, Audya 4, Audya 5 and Audya 8 with 4.2B software already installed.

1 – Insert the pen drive into the most external USB socket on the left side

2 – Press the DISK button
3 – Press the USER 2/7 (D:REMOV) button.
4 – Select the 00KTNinstall-Style00 file

5 – Press the ENTER button.

The keyboard installs all the files required and automatically carries out the necessary reset and initialisation steps.  When the message “Press Enter to complete update or any TAB to continue” appears, press the ENTER button. The keyboard restarts and completes the installation procedure.

IADDITIONAL INFORMATION

INS Autoload

• How to remove or add INS to those automatically set by the update:

1.Open the RAM SOUND menu and press the RAM INS button.
2.Press the EDIT button.
3.Select the sounds to be automatically loaded.
4.Press the SAVE SELECT (F7) key and assign a name.
5.Press the USER 5/10 (Enter) button to save.
6.Set the .rbk file to auto-loading by selecting A.LOAD ON (F8).

 

• How to disable INS auto-loading when switching the keyboard on:

1.Open the RAM SOUND menu and press the RAM INS button.
2.Press the EDIT button.
3.Use the F8 button to set the A.LOAD function to OFF.

N.B. Removing the automatic loading of the INS when the keyboard is started causes a few Styles to be incomplete in certain sections.

USER LIVE GUITARS Autoload

• How to disable USER LIVE GUITARS auto-loading:

1.Press DISK.
2.Go to the C:\\USER LIVE GUITARS directory and press the ENTER button.
3.Press F10 to disable the User Live Guitars. (DISABLED)

N.B. Disabling the USER LIVE GUITARS causes a few styles to be incomplete in the Live Guitar section.

• How to replace the USER LIVE GUITARS to be loaded when the keyboard is started:
  

If you already have a GBK file, simply set the latter to Autoload; otherwise you need to create one and set it to Autoload using the following procedure:

1.Press the DISK button
2.Go to the C:\\USER LIVE GUITARS directory and press the ENTER button.
3.Press the F6 CLEAR ALL key.
4.Press the F9 (A.LOAD OFF) key to disable the automatic loading.
5.Use the ENTER key to select the desired Guitar files.
6.Press the F8 key and assign a name.
7.Press the USER 5/10 (SAVE ) button to save.
8.Go to the saved file and press the F9 “A.LOAD ON” button for automatic loading.

The User Live Guitars can also be enabled without setting the autoload on start.  For doing so, set the A.LOAD value to OFF and the GTR (F10) parameter to ENABLED.

N.B. If the User Live Guitars are enabled but the guitars required by the style have not been loaded, the latter will be automatically loaded when the style is selected, thus requiring a longer time to load the style.

Audya Sound Upgrade

Istruzioni per l’istallazione di “Upgrade Suoni per Audya” con Pen Drive

Informazioni Importanti :

• Prima di procedere all’aggiornamento si consiglia di effettuare il backup dei propri dati.
• L’installazione di questo aggiornamento, riscrive integralmente la wave table della macchina e modifica i Presets, i Programs, le GM Voices, alcuni User Styles e le impostazioni degli effetti.
• Per completare l’aggiornamento sono necessarie circa 3 ore e 30 minuti. Non interrompere l’aggiornamento una volta avviata la procedura.
• L’aggiornamento di Audya tramite Pen Drive può essere effettuato esclusivamente dalla porta host USB come di seguito evidenziato:

Come procedere per aggiornare la vostra Audya:

Seguire attentamente  le istruzioni seguenti:

a) Eliminare tutti i file con estensione “.MEM” (se presenti) nella Directory Principale (ROOT) dell’Hard Disk di Sistema  “ C: ”
Come eliminare un file dal disco di Audya.

b) Inserire la Pen Drive nell’ingresso host USB n°1 collocato nella parte anteriore sinistra della tastiera (vedi nota sopra).  

c) Premere il tastino “DISK” e selezionare con il tasto “USER 2/7” il dispositivo “D:REMOV” non appena comparirà sul display.

d) Copiare il file “AUDYA41B.MEM” nella directory principale (ROOT) dell’Hard Disk di sistema “C:”.
Come copiare un file dalla penna USB al disco di Audya..

e) Terminata la copia,  spegnere e riaccendere tenendo premuti contemporaneamente i tasti “F10” e il tasto “Unplugged” fino all’avvio della procedura di aggiornamento. Dopo alcuni minuti la macchina si riavvierà automaticamente.

f) Premere il tastino “DISK” e selezionare il dispositivo “D:REMOV” con il tasto  “USER 2/7”.

g) Selezionare il file “00KTNinstall00” e premere ENTER. (La procedura di istallazione inizierà immediatamente e sul display appariranno le informazioni sull’avanzamento.
Tempo previsto per il completamento 3 ore e 30 minuti circa).

h) Al termine spegnere e riaccendere lo strumento.
