How can I record an audio track synchronised with a midi file ?

The Audya Midi Sync function allows you to record one or more audio tracks synchronised with a midi file.
Proceed as follows to record an audio track synchronised with a midi file:

  • Press the MENU button
  • Press F8 AUDIO RECORDING
  • Press EDIT to set the recording source
  • Press F2 MIDI SYNC RECORDING
The C:\Midi file directory is opened.
  • Select the midi file to which you wish to assign the audio track to be recorded.
  • Press ENTER to play it.

The midi file is played and the associated audio track is simultaneously recorded.
Press the STOP and the RECORD button to stop recording.
The instrument displays the content of the directory where the midi file, to which a new wave file was assigned, has been saved. The new wave file has the same name as the midi file, but with the ending _1 to indicate that this is the first Audio track.
Play the MIDI file to listen to the result. The associated WAVE file will also be automatically played.
Repeat the above-mentioned procedure to record the second Audio track.
This time in the same directory as the original midi file a new wave file is created, with the same name as the midi file, but ending with _2 to indicate that this is track number 2
